Runcton Manor, a few miles from Chichester, is a venue concerned to help people with contemplation, creativity and connecting with nature.

With its 6.5 acres of lawn, gardens, river, orchard and woodland, Runcton Manor is a great place to unwind and recuperate.

We offer a Quiet Garden Morning on the third Wednesday of most months. These give an opportunity for people to step back from day to day pressures and deadlines, and appreciate the world we are part of. For some, this can involve reading books and poems; for others it can be sitting under a tree or another favoured spot and seeing what comes (it nearly always does!); for others it can be walking a labyrinth (guidance can be given on this if required) or writing thoughts or poems.

Practical details on Quiet Garden Mornings are given here. A selection of poems and prose written during quiet Garden Mornings is given here.
